5¹ LUCAS JOÃO floated the ball to DAVID NERES who fired it just beyond the far post. 6¹ HALLER placed a right foot shot wide from close range. 8¹ GOAL!! A nice run by KRUNIC on the left was capped by a wonderful cross which POLITANO nodded home at the far post. (1-0 Reading) 10¹ SOLANKE shot over. 15¹ HALLER brought the ball past TILLMAN and poked a poor shot well wide. 16¹ GOAL!! An energetic KOVACIC ran down the left wing and knocked the ball back for SAIBARI to crack home. (1-1) 18¹ KRUNIC beat MYKOLENKO and hit the ball to POLITANO who toe-poked his shot wide. 24¹ KONATÉ was put clear by TOTI and he raced past the Reading 'keeper but rammed his shot over. 28¹ GOAL!! With his back to goal HALLER wrong-footed the defence and rifled the ball past the 'keeper. (2-1 Reading) 29¹ SOLANKE snapped at an easy chance. 38¹ A fine run was ended by a good save by the oncoming Birmingham City 'keeper. 1² KOVACIC worked the ball to SOLANKE, MYKOLENKO latched onto his cross and headed the ball within easy reach of the 'keeper. 2² GOAL!! Unlucky SOLANKE hit the upright before MINTEH stabbed the ball into the net as GÜNTER failed to clear.
