(1-0 Walsall) 11¹ RUSSELL ran onto a great ball from McGREE but toe-poked his effort wide. 23¹ HARDIE cautioned for a late foul on TEIXEIRA. 25¹ A shot from SINANI was booted off the line by HUGHES. 29¹ EKUBAN snapped at an easy chance. 33¹ The 'keeper saved a swerving shot from EKUBAN. 36¹ The 'keeper managed to claw away a powerful effort. 40¹ GOAL!! A weak drive from HARDIE seemed to hold little difficulty for the 'keeper but the ball somehow squeezed over the line. (1-1) 4² FERRIER beat four Bury players and thundered a great chance wide. 11² McGREE's shot was well held by PEARS. 15² McCALLUM stormed through the Walsall defence but shot straight at PEARS. 16² RUSSELL drilled a looping shot wide from just outside the area. 23² GOAL!! A delightful dummy from GOMES allowed SØRENSEN to lay a nice ball off to RUSSELL who struck the ball into the roof of the net.
