A great twenty yard shot from WALLACE hit the woodwork and in the ensuing scramble the ball was headed into the net by BRITTAIN. (2-0 Barnsley) 19¹ A mix up in the Grimsby Town defence enabled KITCHING to thump the ball wide. 26¹ BAYLISS fired the ball through a ruck of players but KOVÁR was a match for it as he dived to his left. 27¹ GOAL!! A mix up between HASHIOKA and TÓTH allowed BRITTAIN to drill the ball into the empty net.
