(1-0 Ayr United) 18¹ An exceptional strike from PEDRO was dealt with by a good block from the 'keeper. 18¹ FLETCHER's shot was well saved by the Chelsea 'keeper. 20¹ BRUNT headed just wide. 27¹ The 'keeper was able to claw away a tame shot from McCARTHY. 33¹ GOAL!! Some fine work by RÜDIGER on the right, left LLORENTE yards clear, and he stepped inside the 'keeper and stroked the ball into the roof of the net. (1-1) 34¹ The hapless Chelsea 'keeper stared in disbelief as a backpass from MOSES dropped just wide. 1² A drive from McCARTHY seemed a certain goal but MUSLERA managed to palm the ball clear. 4² LLORENTE was put clear by MOSES and he pulled away from GORDON but struck his shot just beyond the near post. 6² A lovely effort from McCARTHY scraped the top of the crossbar. 9² FLETCHER ran onto a delightful ball from DAVIS but dragged his effort wide of the lefthand post. 10² GOAL!! A tame drive from FLETCHER seemed to hold little difficulty for MUSLERA but the ball somehow squirmed over the line. Unlucky LONG hit the woodwork before McCARTHY poked the ball into the back of the net as KHEDIRA failed to clear.
